Personal Profile
I lived
in Tawa & Paremata from the mid 80's, until moving to the wonders of the CBD. I
had moved North with Burroughs Computers from the mainland after initially training as an
accountant in my home town Christchurch.
Moving into
the computer sales, services and marketing arenas, has gained me invaluable
selling, negotiation and service skills.
Before entering Real Estate I combined
business and website consultancy with establishing a high profile
distribution business in the pharmacy and hospitality areas.
Personal passions revolve around keeping fit, photography (a
few of my favourite shots are on this page),
property, web site creation,
classic cars and classic racing.
I am a past-president of the MG Car
Club and a (retired) key organiser of the awesome
Whittakers MG Classic Motor
race for some 10 years. One of the
greatest thrills in these roles was raising thousands of dollars for
charity, mainly the Cancer Society, Wellington Division.
I bring integrity, strong communication skills, excellent negotiation
ability,
(a well developed sense of
humour) and a real commitment to an excellent outcome for all the parties involved.
Service is everything, and you have every right to demand and receive the
highest level of service; whether buying or selling a property.
My personal commitment to you, is to ensure all the parties
to the sale are delighted with the result.
My
over-riding goal is to have all my clients enjoy the experience and be willing
to act as referees for my future clients. I can happily say this is the
case.
Thank you for reading this, I look forward to helping you achieve your
dream; whether it be buying or selling.
Thoughts
about Fees
There
is a lot of talk about the fee that is charged to market a home.
Remember
- the fee you pay is actually a minor part of the result; how much you sell
your property for, is vastly more important. Similarly the quality of the
marketing programme, both in design, and reach will directly affect the
price you will achieve.
Don't
be tempted to use the cheapest agent; for they may well be the dearest in the
final analysis. If
they can't negotiate a fair fee for themselves at the outset, what chance is
there that they can negotiate well on your behalf later?
You will likely be
a bit stressed out at that time and it's vital your agent is relaxed, in control
and professionally managing the sale of your greatest asset to your best effect.
Harcourts
Khandallah
Perhaps there's
something in the air that suits me in the Khandallah precinct. I have been
fortunate enough to again be No 1 agent for the 2007/2008 year, which is
great. |
